Top Three Places To Watch The Big Game In WF (Top Sports Bars)

For a lot of new residents, it takes awhile to find your new go-to restaurants for occasions of all kinds. Whether it’s finding a routine place for a Friday night out or to celebrate a special occasion, the town of Wake Forest has a lot of potential suitors. But where should a sports fan go if they want to catch a big game in a place with a great atmosphere? Here are three sports bars in Wake Forest that should appeal to a variety of fans.

Shuckers

Considered by many to be one of Wake Forest’s very best overall restaurants, the high-end seafood joint is also a great place to eat when there’s a must-see game on. At nights, particularly those on Saturdays, Shuckers is a high-energy establishment ripe for sports intake. The bar area is usually primed with various college football fans who love taking in the action.

As for the food, you can’t do much better. Shuckers’ seafood is widely viewed as top-notch, but the restaurant’s land food fare is surprisingly deep and collectively delicious.

Buffalo Brothers

Located on across the street from Chick-fil-A on Retail Drive, Buffalo Brothers made a big splash a couple of years ago when it opened and for good reason. The establishment is outfitted with dozens of high definition televisions and features a sprawling two-level seating environment. Any game you can think of, they’ll have it here.

Food-wise, the restaurant features a wide variety of American fare, typical for a sports pub. The pizzas are particularly great and the burgers have many fans. On the appetizer front, Buffalo Brothers is among the best in Wake Forest.

Real McCoy’s

Located in the Heritage side of the town, Real McCoy’s has become a staple for many residents, thanks to its variety of entertainment options, from trivia nights to live performers. Like the other two establishments on this list, Real McCoy’s is both a good restaurant and a great place to watch sports. Uniquely, the restaurant is outfitted with billiards tables in the vicinity of its stretched out bar.

The tenders/boneless wings are the best in town. For starters, check out the Honey Bourbon Shrimp. I’ve also been told that the taco plates are sneaky good.
